Dear Family,

The Corinthian-Casuals Youth Section is organising a Christmas Fayre and all our families are cordially invited to attend! Please keep the 17th free, as we want everyone at the club to come together and celebrate a Corinthian Christmas!

We want to start Christmas week with a whole club celebration and get behind the First XI in their game against top-of-the-table, Greenwich Borough.  Admission to the Fayre including the game will be 'Pay What You Want'. That means it's up to you how much you want to pay to enter the ground.  We are doing everything we can to make this a fabulous afternoon for the whole family, and have a wide variety of attractions such as gift and food stalls, Brazilian food, Starbucks coffee, mulled wine, and numerous other attractions but we need help!

The Cake Sale
We want to have a large cake sale and would like to receive commitments from families to make cakes and baked goods to sell on the day.  Christmas-themed would be nice, but we would happily accept your speciality cake or cookies!
Raffle Prize Donations
This could really be anything! We already have offers of signed footballs, shirts, photographs, food, beer, wine, toys professional photo sessions...anything that you think would make someone happy if they won it!
Christmas Decorations
After you have hung all the decorations in your home, and after you have hung all the new ones you've bought this year, there's always decorations left over that you may not ever use again? Instead of throwing them out, please think about donating them to the club!  We are taking over the inner car park at the club and want to decorate all the stalls and make the ground as 'Christmassy' as possible.
Football Boots
We want your old boots!  As a club, we probably spend thousands of pounds a year on boots that last for one season and quickly become too small as feet grow.  If you have old boots hanging around your house, please donate them to us!!
Help On the Day
We will need people to raise their hands and offer to help on the day.  If we have enough people, you will only be asked to help for an hour or so, perhaps less.  However, being willing to help will spread the load, meaning everyone will have time with their family and their teams and everyone will enjoy the day. We can't do this without volunteers!
Club Picture
We are going to attempt something that has never been done before!  We are going to take a picture of all the teams in the club!  This will include all 25 youth teams, the First XI, the Academy, The Reserves, the Schools XI and all club officials.  This will need organisation and managers will be in charge of their teams, but we will need lots of helpers!!
Team Stalls
We already have a couple of teams interested in having their own stall!!  This is a great way of raising money for the team to help purchase items like track suits, rain jackets, or help towards a team tour or any other area where the team might need money!  Reserve your stall now!!
This is a massive undertaking and we are determined to make this successful and an annual event, but we need help in all sorts of areas, from assembling, dismantling and looking after stalls, to collecting contributions for the raffle and cake stall, to helping organise car parking and herding players for the whole club photograph!

If you can help in anyway, please contact Jen Harness.  Jen is our Fund Raising Officer and raised her hand when we asked for help with the Youth Section!  She is doing a fabulous job and we love her!! Please get in touch with her and let her know how you can help!

The Holidays are coming!!
