u17s Represent Corinthian Schools XI

The Corinthian-Casuals Schools XI are our famous 'missionary' team that play a season-long series of games against some of the top schools in England, promoting the game and spreading Corinthian Spirit. The team is made up of ex-first team and others who have played at a high level. As the website says of these players, "All now spend their Saturdays travelling at their own expense to the far corners of England to share with school teams their enthusiasm for the game and doing their skilful best to show how football can be played."

On Saturday, the Schools XI invited three of our u17s to join the team for a game against Bedales in Hampshire.  Rory, Louis and Max were a credit to the team and to the youth section and we hope they will be invited again, and perhaps other members of the u17s.  We hope this is only the beginning and that other players this season, and in seasons to come, will have the privilege of representing the club in these fixtures.

Corinthians won 5-2 after being two goals down!
